Take in the breathtaking Rocky Mountains by getting pulled in the snow by sled dogs! Dog sledding has been around for thousands of years, commonly used for traveling and hunting.
Exclusive Vail Rentals recommends Mountain Musher for an exceptional Vail dog sledding experience. Mountain Musher has been offering dog sledding rides since 1989! The company’s private trail in Wolcott is located 10 miles west of Beaver Creek. Along the private trail, free of snowmobiles, wildlife is often seen for those animal lovers!
Each tour is six miles long totaling two hours of sledding. During the tour, a team of huskies pull the sled up and down a mountain which makes for an exciting experience. Tours are offered twice a day, once in the morning and afternoon, so take this into account when making your reservations.
